I’ll also show you how you can manage your thoughts and emotions taking back the lack of control you feel right now. You’ll also learn to normalize how you feel and recognize the triggers that cause you pain.

Diving deep in what you truly want from this next stage of your life, your career, your business, or your relationships — or all it if that’s what you want — The insights you gain will help you set or refine your goals. And I’ll be right along side you guiding and encouraging you along the way.

Through our work together you will learn to develop goals and a timeline to go with it. Whatever you want from your empty nest life is at your fingertips — I’ll teach you how to envision it and go get it.

Dear Empty Nester,

Empty nesting is funny. You know it's coming, you can see it far off in the distance and on the inside you say to yourself "I've got plenty of time." Then the day arrives and it catches you off guard and puts you off balance.

When your friends or family ask you "How is it?" it is way too easy for you to respond "It's great!" or "I love it!" or "It's all good." when on the inside you are feeling lost, alone, sad, and left wondering what happens now?

But how is it, really?

For you it is tough. You feel isolated. You are connected to your kids in a way that goes beyond being a parent. You lived your life for them and gave them your all and in an instant they are gone leaving you hoping things will get better.

When you make the time and space to rediscover yourself, to leverage your strengths, to reconnect with the world around you, it begins your journey away from that isolation and silent suffering. You slowly acknowledge, accept and  peel away layers of sadness, guilt, worry, and wondering. Space opens allowing you to identify and achieve the things you want to do in life. You gain the freedom to put into action the things you've always wanted to do. 

Things begin to feel better and easier.

From experience, I know this isn't work you can do sitting with your thoughts and hoping it will get better. You deserve a mirror. You need a guide along this new path. Everyday, I get up thinking about empty nesters and their journeys. Every day I learn new ways to help people just like you. I have gathered the wisdom of others during my own journey, and will teach you how to understand your thoughts and manage your emotions. I will walk hand in hand with you along your journey pointing out the pitfalls and lifting you up when you need it. Each step of the way you will gain momentum for the next step forward. It has been my privilege to walk this journey with others before you and to learn from their journeys so that you are not alone in yours.
